Stop waiting for an appointment
Ask every practice at once — not one at a time
Finding a therapist, doctor or specialist with a free slot means writing the same email over and over and waiting weeks for answers. ContactStar finds the practices that match what you need and writes a personal inquiry to each one — you read them, you approve them, the replies come back to you.
What you get
Everything you need to find help fast
ContactStar does the searching and the typing. You decide who to ask and what to say.
Describe who you need — a therapist in Berlin, a GP taking new patients, a music teacher nearby — and ContactStar puts together a shortlist of professionals who offer exactly that.
AI drafts a personal inquiry for each practice — in any of 10 languages, not just English. You read every one and approve it before it goes anywhere. Asking ten practices takes minutes instead of an evening.
Each inquiry keeps an exact record of what you sent and to whom, so you never lose track of who you've already approached or accidentally ask the same practice twice. Replies land in your own inbox, not in ContactStar.
Inquiries are sent from a ContactStar address showing your name, with your own address as the Reply-To, so answers come straight back to you. Your shortlist is never sold, shared or exported — there is no export.
Simple by design
How ContactStar works
Describe what you need
Tell ContactStar who you're looking for — a physiotherapist, a GP, a music teacher. Be as specific or broad as you like.
Check the shortlist
ContactStar suggests professionals who match. You decide who to ask and who to drop, and you can add practices you already know of yourself.
Read it, then send it
ContactStar writes a personal inquiry for each one — your question, their name, your reply address. You read every message and approve it before anything is sent.
Just so we're clear
What ContactStar is not
It's a way for one person to ask a handful of professionals a question. It is not built for marketing, and it is not built to scale.
Not a marketing or sales tool
It is for asking a professional about the service they advertise — as a prospective patient, student or client. Advertising, prospecting and lead generation are off-limits, and an account doing that gets closed.
Not a contact list you can buy
There is no export, no download, no API. A shortlist lives inside the one inquiry you made it for, is visible only to you, and is deleted along with it. We don't sell contact data.
Not built for volume
One inquiry reaches at most 30 people, and an account can create at most 5 inquiries — ever, for the life of the account. Deleting one does not free up a slot.
Not automated, and not repeatable
Nothing is sent until you have read it and approved it — there are no sequences, no follow-up chains, no drip. Anyone you emailed in the last 7 days is dropped from your next send automatically, so no one hears from you twice.
These aren't just house rules — they are limits the service enforces, and using ContactStar for unsolicited advertising is a breach of our Terms of Service.
Simple pricing
Pay only when you send
No subscriptions, no monthly fees. Put an inquiry together for free, then pay once — at the moment you decide to send it.
Free
€0 / inquiry
no card needed
Put an inquiry together end to end — search, pick who to ask, read what would be sent — and see what ContactStar turns up before you decide to pay.
Pay Per Inquiry
€9 / inquiry
A single one-time payment, for one inquiry — no subscription, no recurring fees.
Search, draft and shortlist limits apply per inquiry. You can hold one free inquiry at a time, and each account can create up to 5 inquiries in total, free or paid, for the lifetime of the account. Anyone you already emailed from another inquiry in the last 7 days is left out of the send.
Questions & Answers
Frequently asked questions
People trying to get an appointment. A patient looking for a therapist with a free slot, someone who needs a GP taking new patients, a parent looking for a music teacher, a family comparing caterers. The common thread is a long waiting list and the same question that has to be asked over and over: “do you have capacity?”
No, and it will not work as one. ContactStar is for personal inquiries you have a genuine reason to make — you are asking a professional about the service they publicly offer, as a prospective patient, student or client. It is not built for advertising, sales prospecting or lead generation, and the limits make that plain: an inquiry reaches at most 30 recipients, an account can create at most 5 inquiries in total for its entire lifetime, and anyone you already emailed in the last 7 days is dropped from the next send automatically. Using ContactStar for unsolicited advertising is a breach of our Terms of Service and gets the account closed.
No. There is no export, no download and no API. A shortlist exists inside the inquiry you created it for, is visible only to you, and is deleted with that inquiry or with your account. We do not sell contact data, and ContactStar is not a way to buy any.
You describe what you need (for example “physiotherapist in Munich”) and ContactStar uses AI to look for professionals who match, together with the contact details they publish for inquiries like yours. Suggestions can be incomplete or out of date, which is why you check the shortlist before anything is sent.
Yes, always. You decide who stays on the shortlist and who goes, you can add practices you already know of, and every inquiry is written out in full for you to read first. Nothing is ever sent without your explicit approval.
Yes. ContactStar's own interface is in English, but your inquiry doesn't have to be. You choose the language when you start the inquiry, and everything written for you — the message and each recipient's salutation — is drafted in it. 10 languages are supported: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Polish, Russian and Turkish. Choose deliberately, though: the language is fixed for the life of an inquiry, because the salutations are written in it. To write in a different language, start a new one.
They are sent on your behalf from a ContactStar address, and the recipient sees them as “Your Name via ContactStar”. Your own email address is set as the Reply-To, so an answer lands directly in your inbox rather than in a separate ContactStar mailbox.
A single one-time payment of €9 per inquiry, paid right before you send. There's no subscription and no recurring charges. Checkout is run by Link, which shows you the exact amount for your country before you confirm. You can put an inquiry together and read it for free, and only pay when you decide to send it.
You can put a whole inquiry together for free — no card needed — right up to the point of sending. That includes 2 searches and 3 AI-drafted inquiries, and you see 2 of the suggestions in full so you can judge whether the results are any good before paying; the rest of the shortlist stays hidden until you unlock. Practices you add yourself — up to 5 — are always visible, and you can read every message that would go out. The one thing a free inquiry cannot do is send. You can have one free inquiry at a time, and each account can create up to 5 in total, free or paid.
The ability to send that one inquiry, after reading every message. It also lifts the allowances to 5 searches and 10 AI-drafted inquiries, and shows you the rest of the shortlist — up to 25 suggestions, plus up to 5 practices you added yourself — so you can choose who to ask. Replies go to your own inbox. One safeguard always applies: anyone you already emailed from another inquiry within the last 7 days is left out of the send, so nobody hears from you twice. Each account can create up to 5 inquiries in total.
Checkout is run by Link, which sells the unlock to you as our merchant of record — so Link handles the payment, tax, your invoice and your consumer rights, and appears on your statement as “Sold through Link”. Unlocking takes effect immediately, so where you agree at Link's checkout that it be made available to you straight away, the 14-day right of withdrawal ends at that point. If something goes wrong on our side, contact us and we'll make it right. See our Cancellation & Refund Policy for details.
You are responsible for having a genuine reason to contact each recipient — and in the normal case you do: you are a prospective patient, student or client asking a professional about the service they advertise, at the address they publish for that purpose. What you may not do is use ContactStar to advertise, prospect or send anything unsolicited. See our Terms of Service, which say so in binding terms.
Your data is stored securely and is never sold. We share it only with the vetted providers that run the service — our hosting, AI and email partners, all listed in our Privacy Policy. We use industry-standard encryption and row-level security so that only you can reach your own inquiries.
Yes. You can request a copy of the data we hold about you, or request deletion of your data and/or your entire account, at any time — just email us at hello@contactstar.app. See our Privacy Policy for details.
